Students have to conjugate verbs in the imperfect and then, from a list of uses for the Imperfect, decide which one fits the sentence best.
Students do the same as the above, but with the preterite.
The same as the above, but with the pluperfect.
Students translate a set of sentences and think about the different contexts their tenses imply.
Students finish sentences (si clauses) based on what tense should follow.
Students translate sentences to English from French to test their knowledge of depuis, pendant and pour.

A resource I created to give to A level/Year 11 students as an in-class exam which can be particularly useful for Assessment Points.
It tests the following:
Pronouns: exercises include re-writing sentences and replacing certain words with the correct pronouns
Tenses: give the correct conjugation of the verb with the correct tense
Translating questions and inverting verbs into French

** This test normally lasts around 45 minutes so I have enough time to explain what we’re doing in the lesson and then do a short plenary or starter activity.
This resource is suitable for any year group with whom you have worked on the subjunctive and its uses. The PPT lesson will require some prior knowledge of the tense, however it is possible to adapt it so that this is not the case.

There are 20 different verbs in their own box. - Cut out each verb and place it face down on the table
Ask a student/peer to pick one of the verbs, and reveal what they got
Choose one tense, and one person form for them to conjugate the verb to
1 point for a correct conjugation, and 1 extra point if they can use the conjugation in a sentence adequately

A full lesson (PPT) aimed at any level of GCSE Spanish (can be adapted). Includes a quiz which is the main point of the lesson - students must come up with their team name in Spanish relating to Halloween in some way. They write their answers down, then we go through them in class and cover any vocab the students are unsure of.
